A brand new site for The Living Room in thehub:mk, Milton Keynes.

The Living Room Group Ltd announces the future opening of the latest The Living Room Restaurant and Bar at thehub:mk, Milton Keynes in summer 2008. The new venue will form part of the dynamic new development of offices, hotels, retail outlets, cafes, bars/restaurants and apartments situated in the centre of Milton Keynes. The Living Room, due to open on the corner of Witan Gate and Midsummer Boulevard, will feature a restaurant and bar area together with an outdoor terrace overlooking the central piazza.

The acquisition of the site in Milton Keynes has been a long awaited find for The Living Room Group, who have been searching for a venue in the city for the past 4 years. Managing Director of The Living Room Group Danny Fox commented: “We are delighted to be part of thehub:mk; it’s an exciting development for both Milton Keynes and ourselves and we’re looking forward to what will be the first new The Living Room to open in over two years.”

Recruitment for staff at all levels will commence in spring 2008 and Danny Fox stated
“we will be recruiting approximately 50 of Milton Keynes’ best, with experience in the restaurant and bar industry, to join the team and benefit from our award winning The Living Room  training programme.”

The Living Room restaurant and piano bar is a stylish venue currently operating in 13 major cities across the UK including: Liverpool, Manchester, London and Edinburgh. Its reputation for great food and drink, coupled with excellent service and chic surroundings makes The Living Room a favourite destination for both regular guests and occasional visitors.

A varied and interesting menu includes a selection of dishes with international and European influences. It also includes a section of ‘home comforts’ which fulfil the popular gastro-pub dimension.  Food is served from midday until late and if guests time their arrival well, they will get the chance to listen to one of The Living Room’s resident musicians perform live music from the legendary baby grand piano.

The Living Room is well known throughout the UK for its exceptional service standards and high quality food and cocktail offering .The venues offer attractive and comfortable spaces for dining and socialising and areas of the restaurant and bar can be booked for private hire opportunities.
