Frontier Estates in last signings for the hub:mk
Café Culture is set to take on whole new meaning for Milton Keynes, as Milton Keynes' most exciting development, the hub:mk starts to come to life.
Surrounding a beautiful piazza, restaurants and cafes, offering a taste of life from around the world, will sit side by side, all with outdoor seating bringing café culture in its truest sense to the city.
Frontier Estates, the company behind the hub:mk, is in the final stage of finalising contracts with the last few remaining retail units.
Andrew Crowther, Managing Director said: “We have had tremendous response and delighted to be able to bring such an eclectic mix of dining experiences to Milton Keynes. The hub:mk will reflect the dynamic, vibrant side of Milton Keynes.”
Opening first will be Bon Viveur (the third coffee bar in the city for owner Dominic Wilmott ) closely followed by the world famous coffee company Starbucks.
And throughout the summer the other restaurants will open:
Italian restaurants Strada serving delicious authentic Italian cooking in contemporary surroundings and Zizzi serving pastas, pizzas and salads; Las Iguanas, renowned for its authentic pan-South American food bringing a slice of Latin Life to Milton Keynes; Café Rouge, which embodies the style and je ne sais quoi of relaxed French dining with a combination of delicious food, great wines and a real ambience; DimT Café, a new style cafe that serves an extensive variety of Chinese Dim Sum dishes to eat in or take away and The Gourmet Burger Kitchen – GBK - offering an extensive range of innovative and exotic combinations of freshly prepared burgers to suit all tastes and appetites designed by internationally recognised chef Peter Gordon.
In addition to restaurants, the hub:mk will also be home to other retailers including:
Oakhill, estate agents, letting agency and chartered surveyors and Sk:n, the national network of specialist skin and body clinics offering affordable and innovative cosmetic and laser treatments and skincare products.
“We are in the final stages of contract signing with some other big brand names and look forward to making announcements shortly” said Andrew Crowther.
